HOW WE GOT HERE

VISION

To advance the Christian faith in the UK and in Zambia.

Enriching Lives Charity was set up to meet the following needs :

To support and encourage church planting activities in Zambia: This was done through resource mobilisation for church planting work in Zambia.

Holding marriage enriching conferences annually in the UK:

This led to the setting up of Koinonia Family conferences which have been held every year since 2005.

Holding youth conferences in the UK: This led to the setting up of the Ebenezer Youth conferences. Unfortunately, the camps are no longer held.

MISSION

Support and encourage church planting initiatives in Zambia.

Promote marriage enrichment in the UK by holding annual conferences.

Relieve hardship and distress as assessed by trustees.

SAFE GUARDING  STATEMENT

08

July 2023

Enriching lives Charity seeks to provide a safe and secure environment while working with vulnerable groups (children and adults) participating in our programs and activities. We ensure that all those we have contact with can feel, and be safe, by implementing safe practices and in a safe environment.

We value the children and adults in our care by following safeguarding policies which protect them from incidents of misconduct or inappropriate behaviour, while also protecting our members and volunteers from false accusations. Thereby enabling us to identify and appropriately challenge when things are not done in line with these expectations.

Enriching Lives Charity has a zero-tolerance approach to abuse. We recognise that under the Care Act 2014, all members have a duty for the care and protection of adults and children who are at risk of abuse. We also recognise our responsibilities for the safety and care of children under the Children Act 1989 and 2004. We are committed to the promotion of wellbeing, prevention of harm and to responding effectively if concerns are raised.
